Refunds & Cancellations

Effective as of June 9, 2026

Last updated: June 9, 2026

This policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds, and payment-dispute issues are handled on The Online Gun Show. It should be read together with the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Scope of This Policy

The Online Gun Show is operated by Southern Iron Holdings LLC.

This Refunds & Cancellations policy applies to purchases, marketplace transactions, and other paid features on The Online Gun Show ("OGS", "we", "us", or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Some products are subject to special restrictions because of firearm, ammunition, serialized-item, NFA, FFL-transfer, safety, and legal-compliance requirements. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.

Order Cancellations Before Fulfillment

You may request cancellation of an order before fulfillment begins. Because many items require seller coordination, FFL verification, shipment preparation, compliance review, or transfer processing, cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been placed. A cancellation is effective only after OGS confirms it in writing or through the platform.

Submit cancellation requests as soon as possible to info@theonlinegunshow.com. Whether an order can still be canceled depends on its current status, including whether payment has cleared, the seller has begun processing, shipment has been initiated, FFL transfer steps have begun, or the item has otherwise moved toward fulfillment.

After processing has begun, cancellation may be denied or may be subject to reasonable costs, restocking fees, or shipping charges where permitted by law. OGS does not guarantee cancellation after payment if seller fulfillment or compliance work has already started.

Firearms, Serialized Items, NFA Items, and Ammunition

Firearms, serialized receivers or frames, suppressors and other NFA items, and ammunition are final-sale items once shipped, transferred through a licensed FFL dealer where applicable, delivered, accepted, or otherwise fulfilled.

After an FFL transfer is completed or you take possession, these items generally cannot be returned to OGS because of safety, legal, regulatory, chain-of-custody, and compliance requirements. This does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Manufacturer warranties, if any, are provided by the manufacturer unless OGS expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

FFL Transfers and Buyer Inspection

OGS facilitates lawful marketplace transactions and transfer workflows through licensed FFL dealers where applicable. OGS does not itself perform firearm transfers unless expressly stated elsewhere in our policies.

For items transferred through an FFL, inspect the item at the receiving FFL before completing the transfer. If the item appears damaged, incorrect, or materially different from what was ordered, do not complete the transfer and contact OGS support immediately.

Completing the transfer or taking possession means you accept the item in its delivered condition, except for rights that cannot be waived by law or covered by an applicable manufacturer warranty.

Accessories and Other Non-Firearm Items

Eligible non-firearm accessories may be returned only with prior written approval and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from OGS. Unless OGS states otherwise, returnable accessories must be submitted within 30 days of delivery and must be unopened, unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in original packaging with all manuals, parts, and documentation.

Opened, used, installed, customized, special-order, hazardous, or restricted items may be refused. Buyer is generally responsible for return shipping unless OGS caused the error or applicable law requires otherwise.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If you receive an item that appears damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from what was ordered, contact OGS support promptly with your order number, photos of the item and packaging, and a description of the issue.

  • Do not discard original packaging until the claim is resolved.
  • Include shipping-label and damage evidence if the package arrived damaged.
  • For FFL-transfer items, inspect the item before completing the transfer whenever possible.

OGS may deny or limit claims if an item was transferred, accepted, or used before the issue was reported, except where required by applicable law.

Failed Fulfillment, Out-of-Stock Items, and Shipping Delays

If an item becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled, OGS may cancel the order or the unavailable portion of the order and issue an approved refund to the original payment method where possible.

If an item is out of stock after purchase, OGS or the seller may offer a refund, replacement, substitution, or wait option where appropriate and permitted by law.

If shipment is delayed, OGS may contact you with updated information, alternative options, or cancellation and refund options where required by applicable law. OGS does not guarantee specific delivery dates unless expressly stated for a particular order or listing.

Background Check Denials, FFL Refusals, and Legal Ineligibility

You are responsible for confirming that you may lawfully purchase and receive the item and that your selected FFL can accept the transfer. OGS does not control background check or NICS outcomes, FFL business decisions, or government licensing determinations.

If a transfer cannot be completed because of legal ineligibility, a failed or delayed background check, incorrect information, FFL refusal, failure to provide required transfer information, or failure to complete the transfer, any refund or cancellation may be denied or reduced by shipping, return shipping, restocking, transfer, storage, compliance, dealer, or other third-party costs where permitted by law.

OGS does not automatically refund all denied-transfer orders. Each situation is reviewed based on order status, costs incurred, and applicable law.

Restocking Fees, Shipping Costs, and Non-Refundable Costs

Approved cancellations or returns may be subject to a restocking fee, including up to 20% where stated at checkout or in the Terms and Conditions.

Shipping charges, return shipping, FFL transfer fees, background check fees, dealer fees, special-order costs, payment processing costs, and other third-party costs may be non-refundable once incurred, except where required by law or expressly approved by OGS.

How Approved Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method. Once OGS or its payment processor submits a refund, the timing for the refund to appear depends on the payment processor, card network, issuing bank, and payment method. Some refunds may appear as a reversal of the original charge rather than a separate credit.

Payments are processed through Stripe. OGS does not control Stripe, card-network, or bank processing times after a refund has been submitted.

If a return of physical merchandise is required, OGS may withhold a refund until the returned item is received and inspected. Partial refunds may be issued for partial cancellations, restocking fees, shipping deductions, or missing or damaged return contents where permitted by law.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an unauthorized charge, billing error, duplicate charge, non-delivery issue, or other payment problem, contact OGS promptly at info@theonlinegunshow.com so we can investigate before initiating a payment dispute with your bank or card issuer.

You agree not to initiate false, bad-faith, duplicate, or buyer's-remorse chargebacks for items fulfilled, transferred, delivered, or accepted according to the Terms and Conditions. OGS may provide transaction evidence to payment processors, card issuers, banks, or other applicable parties for disputes inconsistent with those Terms.

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law, including rights related to unauthorized charges, billing errors, non-delivery, or other protected payment disputes.

How to Request a Cancellation, Return, or Refund

To request a cancellation, return authorization, or refund review, contact info@theonlinegunshow.com or visit our Support page.

Include, where applicable:

  • Your order number
  • The item involved
  • The reason for the request
  • Photos or documentation supporting a damage, defect, or discrepancy claim
  • FFL dealer information for transfer-related issues

Do not send items back without written approval and an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender at the sender's expense where permitted by law.

Changes to This Policy

OGS may update this Refunds & Cancellations policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders after changes are posted may constitute acceptance of the revised policy, where permitted by applicable law.
